Rebecca and Ben’s Essex wedding in July at East Mersea Hall was a truly memorable occasion. Their day was a blend of natural beauty, personal touches, and unexpected adventures.
They exchanged their vows in a beautiful walled garden, surrounded by blooming flowers and lush greenery. This outdoor ceremony added a touch of enchantment to the day.
The couple’s beloved dog, Basil, was an adorable part of the festivities, courtesy of Woofs and Weddings. Guests enjoyed oysters from Essex’s famous seafood scene adding a local touch to the menu.
My favourite part of the day came later in the evening as we took advantage of the golden hour’s soft, warm light to capture stunning beachside photos. Sneaking off to Cudmore Grove Country Park was well worth it!
Just before the evening party kicked off they added a spontaneous boat ride on a lake, which I think they found a lot more challenging than they expected.
As all the fairy lights sparkled into life, the band New Revolver kicked off the party and kept the energy high to ensure everyone had a fantastic time dancing the night away.
Their wedding showed that elegance and fun can coexist perfectly, serving as inspiration for couples looking to create their own unique and memorable wedding day. East Mersea Hall is a venue I hope to revisit with so many perfect spots and magical charm, it really does have everything.
